Because September packs nine major birthdays into three weeks, the practical constraint is not price but availability. The most requested locations — Shin-Okubo (Tokyo's Korea Town), Shibuya and Shinjuku — are typically claimed four to six weeks ahead for the September 1, 14–15 and 22 dates.
