Whose birthday is it today in September?
September 1 — Jungkook (BTS) and An Yujin (IVE)
The busiest single date of the month. Jungkook, born September 1, 1997, is BTS's maknae; An Yujin, born September 1, 2003, is IVE's leader. Both draw heavy fan-ad activity in Seoul and Tokyo, so signage for this date sells out earliest.
September 12 — RM (BTS)
Kim Nam-joon, born 1994, is the leader of BTS. See the full BTS members' birthday list.
September 13 — Yeonjun (TXT)
Choi Yeon-jun, born 1999, is the oldest member of TOMORROW X TOGETHER and its main dancer and rapper.
September 14 and 15 — Han and Felix (Stray Kids)
Han Ji-sung (September 14, 2000) and Felix (September 15, 2000) have back-to-back birthdays, and STAYs routinely book joint two-day ad slots for the pair. Details in our Stray Kids birthday list.
September 22 — Nayeon (TWICE) and Seungmin (Stray Kids)
Nayeon, born 1995, is TWICE's oldest member; Seungmin, born 2000, is a Stray Kids main vocalist. Two large fandoms competing for the same date makes September 22 the second-hardest day of the month to secure inventory.
September 24 — Gaeul (IVE)
Kim Ga-eul, born 2002, is IVE's oldest member. Her birthday closes out the month's cluster.
September is peak season for birthday ads — here's why that matters
A birthday ad — senil ad (생일광고) in Korean, 応援広告 (ouen koukoku) in Japanese — is a fan-funded advertisement on a real station poster or digital screen. The practice started in Korea and is now well established in Japan, and fans living abroad can book Tokyo placements directly.
Because September packs nine major birthdays into three weeks, the practical constraint is not price but availability. The most requested locations — Shin-Okubo (Tokyo's Korea Town), Shibuya and Shinjuku — are typically claimed four to six weeks ahead for the September 1, 14–15 and 22 dates.
| Format | Who can book it | Apply by | Prices from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Digital signage / outdoor vision | An individual can book alone | 2 months before | About ¥13,000 |
| Station poster | A group of 2 or more, with a short group profile | 3–4 months before | About ¥16,000 |
Two things to settle before you book. Every fan support ad needs permission from the idol or their agency, and you will be asked for proof of it — a screenshot of the approval email or DM — when you order. Ads featuring anyone under 18 cannot be accepted. If permission and finished artwork are both already in hand, digital signage can sometimes go live in about 2 days.
Applications, design checks and installation are handled in English. Check September availability on the Oshi-Ad store, or read how to run a birthday ad for your K-pop idol in Japan.
